| What's the difference between a Project manager and a Project Director? |
In Western style contracts it has become increasingly common for Employers to ask for a senior member of the construction company, normally a director, to sponsor the project and to provide the Employer with point of contact if things go wrong. This person is usually nominated as the Project Director and will oversee the project at high level. He may also oversee several other projects at the same time. The Project Manager is usually the person with the overall responsibility and authority for delivering the project according to the Performance Guarantees given to the Employer. |
